Mingei International Museum

Forms In Wood & Fiber features the work of six distinguished San Diego wood artists and several members of California Fibers—an exemplary group of artist craftsmen from Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties. Recognizing the rich diversity of excellent wood and fiber artist craftsmen in this region, the exhibition is conceived as a lively conversation among peers and between two artistic media. San Diego Symphony

The San Diego Symphony Summer Pops Series continues through July with Burt Bacharach on the 20th, Video Games Live on the 24th, and Michael Cavanaugh as Billy Joel (25th and 26th). Quail Botanical Gardens

In addition to many special events this summer, Quail Botanical Gardens will also present a Jazz concert on three Sunday afternoons. The Rob Mullins Trio on July 20, the Gilbert Castellanos Latin Jazz Quintet on August 3, and Raggle Taggle on August 17.
